SPAK sends a summons to former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, requesting her to appear before BKH officers on July 31, 2026, after she will be notified of the extension of the investigation deadlines.
Since the former Minister of Infrastructure and Energy is a defendant in the Llogara tunnel tender, she must appear before SPAK in the company of a lawyer.
Balluku is also under investigation for money laundering, corruption, and violation of equality in tenders for all lots of the Grand Ring Road.
This Wednesday, her two former subordinates, the former head of ARRSH, Gentian Gjyli and Erald Elezi, the former head of KESH, co-defendants with Balluk, appeared at SPAK, where they were informed of the extensions of the investigation deadlines until October 20, 2026.
