A conflict between several people near the Rinas overpass has ended with two people detained and two others declared wanted. The incident was revealed by the Tirana Police after the publication of a video on social networks, which showed several citizens physically clashing.
According to the Police, the verifications carried out showed that the footage was filmed near the Rinas overpass. In order to fully document the circumstances and identify the persons involved, the services of the Tirana Local Police Directorate have carried out investigative actions in cooperation with the Lezha Local Police Directorate.
As part of the investigation, the services of Police Commissariat No. 6 have detained Jozef Marku, 30 years old, against whom suspicions are raised for the criminal offenses of "Unlawful Deprivation of Liberty", "Intentional Minor Injury", "Threat", "Unlawful Wearing of Uniform" and "Unfair Interference in Private Life".
KN, 31, suspected of being the driver of the Land Rover used during the incident, was also arrested. He is suspected of the criminal offenses of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime", "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, bombs or mines and ammunition", "Unlawful deprivation of liberty", "Intentional minor injury", "Threat", "Unlawful wearing of uniform" and "Interference in private life".
Meanwhile, the police have announced a search for AH, 48 years old, and KV, 27 years old, while work continues to capture them.
During the search of KN's apartment, the blue uniforms found and seized a quantity of ammunition. The Land Rover vehicle, which is suspected to have been used during the conflict, was also seized as material evidence.
According to police investigations, the detained persons, in collaboration with other yet unidentified citizens, are suspected of having raped EK, 26 years old, on the claim that the latter had insulted one of the persons involved.
The incident was made public after footage of the conflict was shared on social media. Meanwhile, Jozefin Marku has given another version of what appears in the video, claiming that it was a staged scene and that "nothing happened."

As a result of the actions carried out by the services of the Police Commissariat No. 6, citizens JM, 30 years old, were detained for the criminal offenses of “Illegal deprivation of liberty”, “Intentional slight injury”, “Threat”, “Unlawful possession of uniform” and “Unlawful interference in private life”, as well as KN, 31 years old, who is suspected of having been the driver of the “Land Rover” vehicle, for the criminal offenses of “Supporting the perpetrator of the crime”, “Unlawful possession and production of weapons, bombs or mines and ammunition”, “Illegal deprivation of liberty”, “Intentional slight injury”, “Threat”, “Unlawful possession of uniform” and “Interference in private life”. Meanwhile, citizens AH, 48 years old and KV, 27 years old, were declared wanted.
During the search of the apartment of citizen KN, a quantity of ammunition was found and seized, as well as the "Land Rover" vehicle, suspected of being used in the incident.
These citizens are suspected of having, in collaboration with other citizens, still unidentified, raped citizen EK, 26 years old, claiming that the latter had insulted one of them.
Work is underway to capture the wanted citizens, identify other persons involved in this incident, and bring them to criminal responsibility.
The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
