The Democratic League of Kosovo will hold a General Council meeting on Saturday at 12:00, where several important decisions are expected to be made on the eve of political and electoral developments in the country.
The focus of the meeting will be the nomination of the LDK candidate for the post of prime minister, a decision that is expected to determine the party's political strategy for the coming period.
Also, during the meeting, the drafting of the list of candidates for deputies will be discussed, with the party structures expected to provide their proposals and positions on representation in the elections.
Another important issue on the agenda is the consideration of the possibility of cooperation with President Vjosa Osmani, a topic that has long sparked discussions on the Kosovo political scene.
The decisions that will emerge from this meeting are expected to have a significant impact on the party's political positioning in the coming months.
A few days ago, the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, announced that he had reached an agreement with Vjosa Osmani for her to become part of the list of the party he leads. Asked if Osmani could lead the list of this political force, Abdixhiku said that for him there is no problem. Also, various names from the Guxo list, a political movement created by Vjosa Osmani after leaving the LDK, which is currently in coalition with VV, have declared that they will follow the former president on her political journey.
