Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, has said that Serbia has recently violated Kosovo's airspace with drones.
According to him, these actions constitute a risk to national security and are part of a broader strategy of aggressive Serbian policy towards Kosovo.
"You see, we are constantly threatened by Serbia. Recently, I believe you already know that there is an unauthorized movement or violation of our airspace through drones that from time to time circulate or violate our airspace," he said in an interview with the media in Kosovo.
"We are investigating them professionally, in coordination with KFOR and partner services. As soon as we have more information, we will definitely share it with the public. At the moment there is nothing for citizens to worry about. All institutions are on duty," the minister added.
The minister also stressed that Serbia's foreign policy continues to maintain the same hegemonic course, aiming to benefit from changing global circumstances to challenge Kosovo's independence and sovereignty.
