Lumir Abdixhiku's chairman, Lumir Abdixhiku, has issued a video message following the General Council meeting, where the agreement for a joint competition with Vjosa Osmani was approved.
According to the agreement, Vjosa Osmani will be the candidate for president and head of this party's list, while Abdixhiku himself will run for the post of prime minister.
In his statement, Abdixhiku said that together with Osmani they have decided to "overcome themselves" and unite to give Kosovo a new chapter of cooperation and hope.
He emphasized that he had been talking about this unification for a long time and that the work to realize it had been intensive, as according to him, citizens were only looking for a reason to believe again.
"Vjosa and I have decided to do exactly this. Let's come together. Let's give the country another chapter," he said.
Abdixhiku called on citizens to join this political race, describing it as an opportunity to bring Kosovo out of political division and fatigue, as well as to set the country on the path of peace, development and state dignity.
Finally, he also announced a joint rally with Osmani, inviting citizens to participate.
"Tomorrow, Vjosa and I are waiting for you from 6:00 PM at AMC Hall, at the great rally of unity. Come. Let's start this great journey for the country together," concluded Abdixhiku.
