Following the Constitutional Court's decision to suspend President Bajram Begaj's decree on the by-elections in Tirana, the Socialist Party has distributed an internal message to its branches in the capital, instructing them to continue preparations for the campaign.
"As was emphasized last night, today's decision does not affect the November 9 elections. The Court's final decision will be given on October 31," reads the message distributed to SP branches in Tirana.
This communication comes at a moment of political uncertainty, following the Court's decision to suspend the presidential decree, which is related to Erion Veliaj's request for an assessment of the legality of his dismissal as mayor.
