The new law will more clearly define the "duties of deputies", but even more clearly, more favors for them.

VNA has learned that work is underway on a document that would give all MPs personal offices, staff for each legislator, vehicles, and more compensation for house rent payments according to market conditions, or more lek for fuel and per diems according to recent economic developments.
Other parliaments in Western countries may have such services for their members, in accordance with the work the MP does, the accountability he gives to the voters, or even the level of economic development of the respective country.
But how similar are our MPs to Westerners in these aspects? How accountable are they? How far do they stay from the money and unofficial interests offered by the government? How much do they represent the people who vote for them?
After doubling their salaries, they are working to double other privileges, without trying to improve the quality of their work first, without putting the citizen first, but holding on tightly to the mayor.
