The Constitutional Court will consider tomorrow in the consultation room the appeal filed by former President Ilir Meta against the security measure "prison arrest". The rapporteur of the case is Judge Sonila Bejtja, who, together with two other judges, will decide whether or not to pass the file for consideration in a public plenary session.
At the same time, Ilir Meta has addressed the Supreme Court with the next appeal, where he also aims to overturn the security measure. The appeal was registered on November 3 and Judge Ilir Panda has been appointed rapporteur.
The former president has been held in custody since October 21, 2024. He has been indicted by SPAK on charges of corruption, money laundering, and concealment of assets, along with his ex-wife and 3 other associates.
