Just a few days after becoming the protagonist of clashes with the police on the boulevard, where the flames of opposition revolt promised epochal upheaval, Luciano Boçi has decided to exchange the scenes of battle for the comfortable armchairs of public hearings.
Instead of confrontations with tear gas, Boçi has chosen the company of the "architect" of the local government of Rilindja, Arbi Mazniku, for a tourist-administrative tour that this time stops in Lezha.
As VNA has learned , the two together, as co-chairs of the Parliamentary Committee on Administrative Reform, will begin tours across Albania on Thursday, side by side, to gather opinions.
The scenario is almost poetic: 5:00 PM, April 22, location: Children's Cultural Center.
On the agenda, the new reform "couple" will play with three pillars:
Pillar 1: Territory and Governance
Pillar 2: Functions and Services
Pillar 3: Local Finances
While the Democrats under the leader's window wait for the signal for "civil disobedience", their vice president seems to have found "civil obedience" at the tables of the Special Committee. It is truly touching to see how police violence is forgotten as soon as it comes to the Round of Supplements and Prioritization.
It is not known whether Boçi will hold Maznik accountable for the "rubber sticks" during discussions on the competencies of municipalities, or whether they will be content with a polite smile after the hearing is closed.
