Arben Ahmetaj spoke from Switzerland and in sync with Sali Berisha, they attacked Altin Dumani today, who during explanations in parliament before deputies said that the former deputy prime minister can provide information on matters under investigation as a repentant person.
Ahmetaj, in an interview for Syri TV, said that "even in legal terms, an accomplice is someone who has committed a crime, as Altin Dumani has been accused of, some Dumanis who are there as collaborators of justice. I don't have to be an accomplice because I have not committed any crime. I'm not talking about the presumption of innocence, which the SPAK chief prosecutor refers to the Albanian parliament and says that it is welcome to be an accomplice. That is, there is no presumption of innocence, because of course now I am an example of the 10 standards. This is the first and most important. The reform has failed. Altin Dumani is the failure of the Justice Reform. Whoever is an enemy of Rama, is dragged along."
“I had loyalty and love for a man who had a knife in his hand,” Ahmetaj said, referring to Prime Minister Rama. As he continued the accusations against Belinda Balluku, Ahmetaj added that the Special Prosecution Office has destroyed his family life with its investigations. “Tobacco has become my food,” he said by phone, confident that Albanians will recognize his innocence.
