Police have confused the identity and citizenship of the young man who lost his life this morning in Ksamil.
Initially, the victim was officially reported as a French citizen with the initials MM, but a few hours later it turned out to be another person.
After finding the identification document, the Police announced that the victim is Portuguese citizen LV, born on September 27, 2005.
In the second announcement, the Police argue that the confusion occurred because in the first moments after the event, the identification was made based on preliminary available data.
Meanwhile, investigations have also focused on the two Turkish citizens, in whose vehicle the suspected perpetrator was caught, while they were transporting him towards Tirana.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its actions to fully clarify and document the incident.
