Since it's Saturday, it might be useful to clarify to everyone who has read some "sensational" news online that having sex while traveling is punishable by 6 years in prison.
Sex is not prohibited under our Penal Code, even with the recent amendments. Sexual abuse is.
Thus, the new article added to the Criminal Code punishes trips organized for the purpose of sexual exploitation for payment and at the expense of others.
So, if someone organizes trips for girls from Latin America to work in Albania as sex workers, they are punished.
Or if someone gathers one or a group of girls from Albania to take them to Dubai where they are sexually exploited by others, this is also punishable.
This applies to individuals and agencies.
