The "dopamine menu" effect: why we quickly get bored with things that

A new phenomenon described by modern psychologists is related to the way we consume pleasure today. Often called the “dopamine menu,” the idea that we always have many quick choices to feel good about: social media, food, short videos, impulse purchases.

The problem is that the brain gets used to immediate and frequent rewards, losing patience for things that take time, like hobbies, reading, or deeper relationships.

This explains why many people feel "full" of everything, but at the same time dissatisfied. Not because there is a lack of beautiful things, but because the brain is used to always looking for the next stimulus.

Experts suggest returning to simpler, slower activities that give the brain more lasting pleasure, not just immediate ones.
