Armando Broja may be close to a return to Italian football, as Lazio has begun monitoring the situation of the Albanian national team striker for the 2026/27 season.
According to Italian outlet Solo la Lazio, the Roma club have included the 24-year-old in their list of targets to strengthen their attacking department. Lazio are looking for alternatives in attack and Broja is seen as a profile that could fit the Italian team's project.
The Albanian striker comes after a difficult season with Burnley, where he faced physical problems and failed to find consistency in the lineup. During the 2025/26 season, Broja registered just 990 minutes in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
According to reports, Burnley are open to his departure on loan, with an option or obligation to buy, if an agreement is reached with an interested club.
The English club will play next season in the Championship, while Broja remains under contract with Burnley until the summer of 2030. A transfer to Serie A could give the Albanian striker the opportunity to regain his rhythm and relaunch his career after a complicated period.
