The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) said an explosion at one of its posts injured three peacekeepers, the third such incident in a week.
"This afternoon, an explosion at a UN post injured three peacekeepers, two of them seriously. All are currently being taken to hospital. We do not yet know the origin of the explosion," said UNIFIL spokeswoman Candice Ardiel.
An Indonesian peacekeeper was killed on Sunday and two others died the next day in the south, near the Israeli border, where the UN force is stationed and where Israel and Hezbollah have exchanged fire since last month.
Separately, the UN Security Council has postponed a vote on a resolution on the Strait of Hormuz until Saturday, a UN spokesman said, following a decision by council members.
The vote was initially scheduled for Friday, April 3, at 11:00 local time, according to the Security Council's provisional agenda.
The decision to postpone the meeting was taken by the member states of the Security Council, the UN spokesman said, without providing further details on the reasons for the change in schedule.
