A large quantity of unexploded Molotov cocktails have been seized by the police. The Molotov cocktails were planned to be used during the recent opposition protest. The rapid intervention of the security forces has meant that a large part of these devices remain unexploded, while the arrestee and the four young men who were carrying them in their bags have been arrested.
Unlike previous times, the police implemented a strict security protocol, creating impassable cordons that prevented protesters from approaching the Parliament headquarters.
Up to now, it is reported that over 20 people suspected of participating in acts of violence and resisting law enforcement have been escorted to police stations.
