Durim Bami, considered the "strongman" of Nikla, has been transferred from detention center 313 in Tirana to the cells of the Fushë Krujë prison. The decision to transfer him was signed by the new director of prisons, Adriatik Kupi, while the previous director Klevis Qose had rejected this move due to the dangerousness of the person. After being extradited from Dubai, Durim Bami claimed that his life was in danger, as he was placed in the same detention center as the people who had made plans to kill him.
Bami is accused of the criminal offenses of "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", "Structured criminal group", "Cultivation of narcotic plants" and "Committing criminal offenses by a criminal organization or structured criminal group".
According to SPAK, he is accused of preparing a plan to kill former socialist MP Arben Ndoka, while in 2021 Bami, together with Endrit Doklen and Marklen Haka, planned the murder of Tori Xhecuka and Erigers Mihas (later killed), associates of Ervis Martinaj.
SPAK also accuses Bami of cultivating hashish in Nikël and Bubq, carried out in collaboration with former RENEA forces officer Altin Morina.
