The Constitutional Court rejected the request of Klodian Rjepaj, former Deputy Minister of Health, to repeal the security measure "prison arrest".
He will continue to remain in detention. The former number two of the Ministry of Health has been sentenced to 4 years in prison for the Sterilization concession affair.
Businessman Ilir Rrapaj and 6 other defendants were also convicted along with him. Former minister Ilir Beqaj is being tried in a separate trial.
