Migena Schroeder is one of SPAK's key witnesses to shed light on the activities of the criminal group operating within AKSHI, a group led by Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, who top the list of most wanted by Albanian justice.
VNA reported a few days ago that Ms. Schroeder has been before special prosecutors for one of the hottest issues of recent times: the AKSHI file. In the testimony given before SPAK, Migena Schroeder has told, among other things, the episode of how for the SmartLab2 procurement procedure, (where Ermal Beqiri did not result in a winner even with the companies led or represented by him) at the moment when there was no agreement with EJ and the winning company A, the director of AKSHI at the time, Mirlinda Karçanaj, wrote to her and asked Ms. Schroeder to meet Ermal Beqiri to clarify things at Rogner.
But from the meeting with Beqiri, Migena Schroeder is informed that she has entered a "shark pool", a warning and threat that would later be finalized with the next threat from a close person, who, according to her, told Mrs. Schroeder that she should be careful with AKSHI, after hearing bad words at the tables and that they are "stupid", the file states, among other things.
In her statements, Schroeder says that it was precisely this severe climate of psychological pressure caused by these threats that forced her to fictitiously receive the amount of 2,530,000 Euros into her company's bank account from Albasena sh.pk, from the State Budget funds through AKSHI, and transfer this amount to the bank account of the company EA Solution sh.pk, (owned by Ergys Agas) even though there was no real legal relationship between them or even though there was practically and factually no legal reason to make this payment. Which leads to the conclusion that the delivery of this large amount is nothing more than a fine due to pressure and blackmail.
Based on this evidence, in the decision of the Special Court of Appeal that imposed security measures against the suspects, including the former director of the National Anti-Corruption Agency Mirlinda Karçanaj, it is emphasized that "it results that the evidence reveals the case of pressure and threats made against Ms. Migena Schroeder. Even in this case, according to these statements, psychological violence was used, through threats, to force the economic operator to act according to the intentions and demands of the suspected perpetrators."
The investigations show that it is not only businessman Gerond Meçe who was kidnapped and forced to withdraw from tenders under pressure, but also other businessmen have been blackmailed and put under pressure because of the AKSHI tenders and the criminal group has not only used state officials to carry out the blackmail, but also the "strongmen". The latter, in clear and clear collaboration with the AKSHI leaders, have blackmailed various firms to the point of taking hostage businesses that had financial ties to the AKSHI, behaving like a powerful gang that was not content with just millions in state tenders but also reached into private businesses that operated in the same field.
