The Special Court of Appeal has upheld the conviction of former Socialist MP Jurgis Çyrbja, who was sentenced to 3 years in prison. Due to the summary trial, his sentence was reduced and he was ultimately sentenced to 2 years in prison, a sentence he has served.
The court also sentenced Altin Hajri, a well-known name suspected of involvement in organized crime, to 3 years in prison. The other defendant, Ahmet Masha, was sentenced to 2.6 years in prison.
