Inter have reached an agreement for the permanent transfer of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, according to reports in Italian and British media.
Jones, formed in the Liverpool academy and part of the English club for 16 years, is expected to be transferred to Milan for a total package of 35 million euros, including bonuses and add-ons.
Inter have been tracking the England midfielder for months, with interest in him also being expressed during the January transfer window. Jones is entering the final year of his contract with Liverpool, making his transfer a lucrative opportunity for the Italian club.
According to reports, the clubs are in constant contact to finalize the final details of the deal, with Jones expected to join an Inter midfield that includes Nicolo Barella, Hakan Çalhanoglu, Petar Sucic, Piotr Zielinski, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Andy Diouf.
