Dozens of residents of Spitalla protested this Saturday against the Municipality of Durrës, demanding the completion of works on the rainwater collector, while expressing concern about the risk of flooding as autumn approaches.
According to residents, the works began about a year and a half ago, but were interrupted when the pipeline was supposed to continue along the road channel. They say that, despite promises from the Municipality to continue the project, no intervention has been made so far.
The issue affects about 400 families in Neighborhood No. 15, who also raise concerns about the lack of sports and entertainment facilities for children, as well as the damage to the asphalt road in a short time.
Until the publication of the news, the Municipality of Durrës had not reacted to the concerns raised by residents.
