US President Donald Trump has stated that Iran wants to reach a deal with the United States, stressing that this has been said several times in recent weeks, but without any concrete progress.
"Iran wants to make a deal," Trump said, adding that "they basically have no military left." According to him, "they want to make a deal, but I'm not happy."
Meanwhile, the US is considering the possibility of using the "Dark Eagle" hypersonic missile for the first time in a possible confrontation scenario with Iran.
According to Bloomberg reports, this weapon could be deployed in the Middle East to strike potential Iranian targets, particularly ballistic missile launchers that have moved beyond the range of existing American weapons.
"Dark Eagle", also known as the "Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon" (LRHW), is one of the US military's most advanced systems, designed for precision attacks at long distances.
It is a ground-based missile system with a hypersonic gliding warhead, reaching speeds above Mach 5 (more than five times the speed of sound) and having a range of around 2,700–3,500 kilometers.
This system aims to quickly and accurately strike important and well-protected targets, such as command centers, air defense systems, and strategic objectives.
