
The number of Palestinians killed by Israeli army attacks in the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has increased to 71,388.
In a written statement from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, the latest data regarding the casualties and injuries in Israeli attacks as well as the bodies recently recovered from the rubble were shared.
In the last 24 hours, 5 wounded and 2 bodies of Palestinians have been brought to hospitals. Since the ceasefire came into effect, 422 people have been killed in Israeli attacks, 1,189 others have been injured, while 684 bodies have been pulled from the rubble.
The number of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 has risen to 71,388, while the number of injured has risen to 171,269.
Gaza ceasefire and hostage exchange agreement
US President Donald Trump announced on October 9 that Israel and Hamas had approved the first phase of a ceasefire plan in Gaza during negotiations taking place in Egypt.
The agreement, signed in Egypt where negotiations took place, entered into force on October 10 with the approval of the Israeli government.
Despite the ceasefire agreement reached in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army continues its attacks on Palestinians from time to time under various pretexts.
