Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel "has not finished its work" in Iran, but added that Israeli pilots control Iranian airspace.
Speaking at a ceremony to mark the start of Israel's Remembrance Day, Netanyahu described the Hamas attacks on October 7 as a "horrific massacre," despite repeated refusals from members of his Likud party to call it such.
Since that day, Netanyahu said, "the Israeli army and security forces have struck one blow after another against those who seek our destruction."
"The world already knows our determination"
According to the Israeli prime minister, "the world now recognizes our determination to defend ourselves and humanity from barbaric fanaticism."
Israel and the US, according to Netanyahu, "carry the entire Western civilization on their shoulders."
