
In the millions of messages published from the Jeffrey Epstein dossier, Albania is also mentioned. Former Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, appears to have communicated with Jeffrey Epstein on May 25, 2012, the day after his official visit to Albania.
According to the email, Jagland briefly wrote to Epstein: “I was in Tirana, extraordinary girls.” His official visit to Tirana took place on May 24, 2012, and included institutional meetings within the framework of the Council of Europe’s engagements in the country.
Thorbjørn Jagland has served as Secretary General of the Council of Europe, a pan-European institution that monitors democracy, human rights and the rule of law in 47 countries. He is also a former Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Norway.
