US President Donald Trump has reacted again through his "Truth Social" platform, at a time when high-level talks are taking place in Islamabad between the delegations of the United States and Iran.
In his response, Trump repeated previous statements that the US has almost completely destroyed Iran's military capabilities, including, according to him, "the Navy, the Air Force and every other component of the Iranian military," as well as "everything else" related to its defense structures.
He also stated that the Strait of Hormuz “will open very soon,” presenting this as an imminent and expected development. According to him, currently empty tankers carrying oil are heading to the United States of America, where they will be loaded with oil.
Trump has also mentioned the existence of a conditional two-week ceasefire with Iran, emphasizing that an agreement has been reached to suspend bombing if Tehran agrees to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a strategic sea route for global oil transport.
On the other hand, according to reported information, Tehran had previously blocked this waterway following airstrikes launched by the United States and Israel on February 28.
