
In the Gaza Strip, heavy rainfall and a strong storm that has swept through the area have brought housing conditions for tens of thousands of displaced Palestinians to the brink of collapse.
Palestinians, who are struggling for survival, are under blockade and obstacles to aid from Israel, while the flooding of tent camps has further deepened the humanitarian crisis.
In the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, families left without basic necessities are trying to survive in makeshift tents erected near their destroyed homes, while also facing harsh weather conditions.
Israel has killed more than 71,000 people, mostly women and children, in Gaza since October 2023 and devastated the enclave. A ceasefire came into effect in October 2025, but Israeli violations have continued.
