The spokesman for the Iranian military's Central Command, Khatam al-Anbiya, stated that the CENTCOM commander's claim about the approach and entry of American ships into this strategic area is "strongly rejected."
He further emphasized that every maritime activity and movement in the region is monitored by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, underlining Tehran's complete control over the situation.
Meanwhile, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that two US ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz and operated in the Arabian Gulf. According to them, this move is part of a broader mission to ensure that the sea route is safe and free of naval mines, which are allegedly laid earlier by Iran and the Revolutionary Guard.
