Official London has condemned the Israeli government's approval of the E1 settlement plan in the West Bank.
"If implemented, this would divide the Palestinian state into two, constitute a flagrant violation of international law and seriously undermine the two-state solution," British Foreign Secretary David Lammy said in his X profile.
Following France and Germany, the UK has now also opposed Israel's plan to annex the Gaza Strip. These objections come after these countries declared that they will recognize the state of Palestine in September if Israel does not stop the war in Gaza.
