The situation in Tirana is escalating by the minute, while clashes between protesters and police are spreading to several areas of the capital's center.
Flames have engulfed the entrance to the former Hotel Dajti and the High Court, while special forces are concentrated near the Prime Minister's Office. The situation seems almost out of control, as tensions continue to escalate.
After burning vehicles, throwing Molotov cocktails, and police interventions with tear gas and water cannons, the fifth day of protests is marking another serious escalation. There is still no confirmed balance of material damage or people injured from the latest incidents.
