The protest of students and high school students in Tirana has been accompanied by other violent incidents, this time in the 9-story area, where a second-tier bank was attacked with force.
During the incidents, protesters attacked the bank premises with metal objects, breaking the building's windows and damaging the ATM. They also set fire to an infopoint located next to the bank.
The incident follows a series of violent clashes between protesters and police forces in several areas of the capital. Tensions had previously started near the Ministry of Education, and then continued near Parliament and the headquarters of the Socialist Party.
The protest, in which students and high school students participate, has escalated with property damage and incidents in several points in Tirana, while police forces have intervened to disperse the crowds.
