The Serbian Progressive Party's candidate for prime minister, Aleksandar Vučić, has continued his campaign for the early parliamentary elections in Serbia, addressing citizens through social networks.
During his speech, Vučić stated that he sees, according to him, nervousness in the region, mentioning the names of politicians from Montenegro, Croatia and Kosovo.
"I see nervousness in the region. Zvicer, Djukanovic, Plenkovic, Kurti are nervous. They will continue with all possible pressures," Vučić said, according to a report by "Nova.rs".
He continued by comparing the ages of the candidates on the rival lists, claiming that the opposition candidates are a total of 1,075 years older than the candidates on his list.
Vučić also spoke about what he described as the growth of Nazi ideology and the relations of countries in the region with Kosovo and Albania.
"They see with fear the growth of Nazi ideology. I hope our neighbors can overcome this," he said, adding that Serbia will continue to follow developments in the region.
Following the speech, Vučić also referred to the slogan "Za dom spremni", used by the Ustasa regime during World War II.
"For us to sing 'Za dom spremni', you won't see that film in Serbia," he declared.
Meanwhile, Vučić also announced that the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, will attend the SNS rally at the Belgrade Arena as a special guest.
"I will be hosting an important guest, a great friend of Serbia. My guest at the Arena will be the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico," Vučić said.
Early parliamentary elections in Serbia will be held on October 25. Vučić resigned from the post of president on September 27.
