The Serbian Football Federation has decided to move the match between Serbia and Albania, which was scheduled to take place in Belgrade, to Leskovac. The move is part of a package of drastic decisions to prevent hooliganism and incidents during the match, which will be played on October 11.
In addition to rescheduling the match, the Serbian Football Federation, in cooperation with FIFA and the Serbian Ministry of Interior, has decided that tickets for this match will not be on sale. They will only be distributed to identified and verified persons with documents, in order to prevent people with problematic intentions from entering the stadium.
This decision comes after the incident that occurred during the 2014 match in Belgrade, which was interrupted and had serious consequences for the Serbian national team. The federation and international institutions are taking strict measures to ensure the safety and normal development of the match this time.
