Vlora has once again faced interruptions in its drinking water supply, after a serious defect in the network forced the Vlora Water and Sewerage Authority (UKV) to shut down all water supply stations.
According to a response from the UKV on social media, the problem was caused by a serious breakdown in the water transmission line from Station No. 4 to the city's main depot. The institution announced that the emergency intervention was completed and the defect was repaired after about three hours of work.
However, the situation on the ground looks different. Many Vlora citizens have reported the lack of drinking water in their homes even after the UKV announced the return of normality.
