Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić reacted harshly to the protests, which demand his removal from power.
Through a communication on social networks, Vučić declared that Serbia will resist external pressures and threats, announcing measures to restore order and peace in the country.
Vučić's statement comes a day after a counter-protest organized by supporters of his Serbian Progressive Party.
"At some point you will see the full determination of the state of Serbia. We will use everything we have at our disposal to restore order, peace and order in our country. And we will do this. We will resist all external pressures, all those who threaten us, who warn us, what is permitted and possible, and so far we have seen from them that they managed to bring chaos to our country and we will win," the Serbian president said.
