On the eve of the protest announced to be held in Skanderbeg Square in Skopje, called by associations emerging from the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) war, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, declared that the state will take all necessary measures to guarantee order and security during its development.
Mickoski emphasized that, despite the government not supporting this protest, state institutions will do their utmost to ensure that everything takes place peacefully, without provocations and incidents.
"The government does not support it and we do not intend to support it. However, we will make sure that the protest passes in the best possible order, that there are no incidents and that nothing happens that we do not want to happen. This is not about any political agreement. As the government, we will do everything, from acceptance at the border to the realization and conclusion of the protest," Mickoski declared.
He announced that the country's strategic partners have been informed about the organization and progress of this protest, while a crisis headquarters has been formed, which will monitor all activities 24 hours before and 24 hours after the protest.
