Six MPs did not attend the Democratic Party meeting, where Sali Berisha and his supporters held a series of “lectures” for MPs.
Among the absentees were Arjan Ndoja, Manjola Luku, Kliti Hoti and Denisa Vata, who did not show up at all, while Ivi Kaso did not participate due to a commitment within the DP.
Arjan Ndoja, who chose not to participate, had previously stated in parliament that he does not accept "going to the Assembly with a director" and that "he will never fall to the tables."
Also notable on the list of absences was MP Besart Xhaferri, who is on a visit to the US, a country where Berisha cannot travel, as he has been declared non grata.
Just a few days ago, Xhaferri had asked Berisha to step down from the party leadership if he fails to prove the "farce" and lead the country towards new elections.
