Lionel Messi continues to shine in MLS, scoring his 19th league goal of the season. The Argentine star scored in Inter Miami's 2-2 draw with Nashville, recording another milestone in his career.
Messi found the net in the 62nd minute. Rodrigo De Paul passed the ball to him from outside the penalty area and the Argentine struck with his left foot, sending the ball into the bottom corner of the goal and temporarily overturning the result.
This was Messi's 928th career goal, further extending an incredible tally for one of the greatest footballers in the history of the sport.
Despite Inter Miami failing to hold on to their lead until the end, Messi remains the team's main protagonist and one of the most decisive players in MLS. He has already scored 19 league goals this season, continuing to impress at the age of 39.
