Representatives of passenger and freight transport companies operating on the line with Italy held a strike today at the port of Durres, in protest against the ferry line.
According to them, the company has increased ticket prices and fees to operators, significantly affecting their economic activity.
As a result of the protest, delays of up to 5 hours have been recorded in the movement of ferries, creating difficulties for passengers and affecting the normality of maritime traffic.
During the strike, attempts were made for dialogue between company representatives and ferry line managers, but the parties did not reach an agreement, and the situation was reported to be tense.
