The Supreme Court ruled to reject the appeal of former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, and left in force the security measure "ban on leaving the country" for the former senior official.
Belinda Balluku is being investigated by SPAK for abuse of road funds worth millions of euros. The Special Prosecution requested permission to arrest her, but the majority rejected the request.
The measure of suspension from exercising functions remains in force against Balluk, a measure for which he is expected to appeal to the High Court.
