
The Israeli army has hit several areas of the Gaza Strip with airstrikes and artillery, continuing violations of the ceasefire that came into effect in October.
According to information received from eyewitnesses, the Israeli army targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City and carried out attacks in the northern and eastern areas of the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Shujaiyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City was targeted by artillery and explosions were heard from the area. Israeli warplanes also bombed the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah, sending smoke billowing from the hit areas.
The Israeli army also opened indiscriminate fire on several areas in Gaza City and Rafah.
According to data from the Government Media Office in Gaza, the Israeli army has violated the ceasefire hundreds of times since it came into effect, killing at least 394 Palestinians and injuring over a thousand people.
Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, which began in October 2023 and lasted two years and are considered genocidal in nature, have killed more than 70,000 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and injured over 171,000 others.
