Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed that his country has submitted all formal requests for arms transfers to United States President Donald Trump as part of a broad bilateral deal worth $90 billion.
"Regarding what Ukraine requires from the US – we have submitted all this to the President of the United States of America. With details and clear illustrations of what is needed. All this is provided for in our big $90 billion deal," Zelensky declared during a press conference in Kyiv.
According to the Ukrainian President, the list of requirements includes sophisticated weapons, defense systems, and other military equipment, while the submitted documentation contains "full details and clear illustrations" of the needs of the Ukrainian army.
Zelensky also added that Ukraine is open to negotiating separate agreements, covering different categories of weapons, including the most advanced ones.
"We are ready for separate agreements for different types of weapons, including long-range ones," he stressed.
This agreement comes at a key moment for regional security and the strategic partnership between Kiev and Washington, as Ukraine continues to face Russian aggression and seeks to strengthen its defense capabilities.
At the moment, the White House has not provided an official comment on the demands submitted by Ukraine or the content of the new agreement.
