The Rafah border crossing between Egypt and Gaza has reopened as part of a "pilot operation" after two years of closure, according to Israeli media reports on Sunday morning.
"The Rafah crossing has been opened as part of a pilot operation," the Yedioth Ahronoth daily reported.
"According to estimates, the movement of people will actually begin tomorrow (Monday) in both directions, with around 150 people expected to leave the Gaza Strip each day, compared to around 50 people returning to it," it added.
However, so far there have been no official statements from Israeli, Egyptian or Palestinian authorities regarding this reporting.
