The Israeli military has expanded military operations in Lebanon, intensifying airstrikes and ground advances. Today, airstrikes hit at least five residential buildings in the southern suburbs of Beirut.
Some of these strikes were carried out after residents received evacuation warnings, but other attacks were carried out without warning, including a strike on a hotel in the Hazmieh suburb of the Lebanese capital.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Minister has authorized the army to take control of new positions inside Lebanese territory. According to reports, Israeli troops have advanced at least one kilometer from seven different points along the border.
The situation in Lebanon remains very tense. Israeli warplanes and drones are constantly heard in the sky, while residents report receiving phone calls warning them to leave the buildings where they live.
Fear and panic have increased among the population, while the conflict is escalating further in the region.
At the same time, US and Israeli bombings of Iran and Lebanon continue. An attack has reportedly hit the Assembly of Experts building in the Iranian city of Qom, while the death toll in both countries has exceeded 800 people.
