The Israeli military announced on Tuesday that it had ordered the evacuation of the port of Hodeidah in Yemen, on the Red Sea, and warned of an attack on the designated area within the next few hours.
According to the official announcement, the attack targets a specific area, which the army has announced through a map, due to the military activities of the Houthi rebels at that point.
"Anyone who stays in the area risks their life," said the official statement from Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee.
He adds:
Urgent warning to all those in Yemen's Hodeidah port
The Israel Defense Forces will launch an attack in the coming hours in the designated area, due to the military activity of the terrorist Houthi regime there.
For your safety, we call on everyone in the port of Hodeidah and on ships anchored there to evacuate the area immediately.
Staying in the area poses a direct risk to life.
