
Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli airstrike targeting a security checkpoint west of Gaza City today, amid continued violations of last year's ceasefire agreement, medical sources said.
Sources at Al-Shifa Hospital told Anadolu Agency that two dead bodies and several wounded, some in critical condition, were brought to the hospital after the Israeli attack.
In a statement, the Gaza Interior Ministry said Israeli aircraft hit a guard checkpoint in the Ansar area, west of Gaza City.
The Israeli military has killed more than 72,600 people, mostly women and children, and injured over 172,000 since October 2023, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
