A plane traveling from London to Tirana was forced to abort the flight and return to the departure airport after reporting a technical defect.
According to media reports, the plane was about halfway to Albania when the decision was made to return to London.
The incident has caused concern among passengers on board, while there is still no confirmed data on the nature of the defect and the causes that led to the flight interruption.
According to the report, the plane belonged to the company "British Airways" and had departed this Monday morning from Heathrow Airport. After about an hour of flight, the crew informed passengers about the technical problem and the decision to return to the airport.
Among the passengers was pastor Paulin Vilajeti, who recounted the moments experienced on board through a post on social media.
"After an hour of flying with British Airways, from London to Tirana, the plane suffered a malfunction in the air and we were forced to return to Heathrow. Thanks to the Lord Jesus, everything ended in the best possible way. We landed safely on the ground!", he said.
Vilajeti has confirmed that, despite the delay caused by the incident, he managed to arrive in Tirana.
There is still no official announcement on the nature of the technical defect that forced the plane to interrupt its journey.
