A serious accident resulting in the death of one person was recorded this morning on the Levan-Tepelena road axis, near the Levan Roundabout.
It is learned that two vehicles, an "Audi" and a "Benz", collided with each other. As a result of the violent collision, the driver of the "Audi", 55-year-old Dashmir Beca, lost his life.
Three passengers traveling in the Audi were transported to the hospital for medical assistance and, according to preliminary data, are out of danger. The driver of the Benz was also taken to the hospital, and is also reported to be out of danger.
The victim's body has been transported to the morgue, while Police services have arrived at the scene, working to fully document the accident and determine its causes.
It is initially suspected that speeding beyond the permitted speed limit may have contributed to the fatal collision, but the exact dynamics of the accident and responsibilities will be determined following the investigation.
