
New details come to light after the murder of Viktor Bardhi in Mirdita's Nëdërfushas. The perpetrator is suspected of having followed the movements of the target and shot him to death inside his vehicle. No shell casings were found at the scene, nor was the weapon in the burnt-out car used in the crime. According to the police, there are suspicions that the weapon had a silencer, as parts of the remains used for the silencer were found.
"Around 8:55 we were notified in the operations room about a serious incident that occurred in Nëdërfushas. And we have formed an investigation group, we have arrived at the scene and from the first investigative actions it has resulted that a citizen was killed in his vehicle. It is citizen Viktor Marku, born in 1961 and in the meantime you are also present, all investigative actions are being carried out. About 20 minutes after the incident, a vehicle was burned, where a second investigation group was set up and is clarifying the circumstances of the case. We have an escort and we have an investigation trail, but we cannot share it with the media at this moment. No weapons were found in the burned car", declared the director of the Lezha Police, Ermal Muça.
The perpetrators' burned car was found in the village of Munaz, Mirdita.
Viktor Bardhi, 65, was shot dead this morning. He is the brother of Martin Bardhi, who was executed in 2023 in Rrëshen, for revenge. In 2025, on the Fier-Vlora highway, his nephew, Kristian Marku, was also killed. The Bardhi clan is in conflict with the Reçi clan, after Martin Bardhi was accused of involvement in the murder of Saimir Reçi.
